GST Australia was established to assist overseas business enterprises reclaim the amount of goods and services tax (GST) paid while on business trips in Australia.
This tax is currently 10% on goods and services paid for in Australia.
In Australia, every business, non-profit Organisation and government body has been able to reclaim the GST it has paid on expenses since the inception of the tax in July 2000. This is the same for both residents and non-residents of Australia.
GST is not related to any other Australian Tax.
